Solid Acacia Wood

I do like this set of boxes. They are all natural, solid acacia wood. Acacia wood is durable, moisture-resistant and food-friendly, so I don't mind storing my tea bags in the smaller one. Our 4 year old Granddaughter loves her own set of tea, so she'll be excited to have her own little private tea box!The medium size box we're using to clear up our bathroom junk drawer. Everything looks so much nicer and tidier. I don't mind storing it in the bathroom because like I mentioned already acacia wood is moisture-resistant.The larger box Is large enough to store a few hand towels and wash cloths along with small perfume bottles. Not sure we'll leave it like this, but it's a good example of being able to store items in a guest bathroom if there isn't a lot of storage space in there.These boxes are very versatile and can be used for storage and organization of arts and crafts, as a sewing kit, jewelry box, photos, memorabilia, etc...These boxes are pretty, but plain enough that they can fit almost any decor. You could decide to decorate them with glitter or beads, modge podge pictures onto the exterior/interior, or use it as a D.I.Y craft option for your children or grandchildren. Also would be nice to give away as a gift. Many options and ideas.The description states that there is a soft interior lining to these. Mine does not have this lining. I don't know if it was supposed to, but I looked through the pictures in the description, and the pictures don't show a lining either.Also, they call the latch, a latch lock. This is not a latch lock, it does not have a key or a hole to insert a key, it's just a latch.While I do like these boxes and they're well made, feel durable, and made with excellent wood, I don't know that I would order again at this price. I feel $39.99 is a steep price for these.

Great Storage!

I fell in love with these boxes the moment I opened the package. The wood grain is beautiful and they're perfect for just about any decor. I'm using these in my bathroom. Since they're acacia wood, they're moisture-resistant so I don't need to worry about them being in there. Since they're three different sizes, they also stack perfectly. I'm using each one to store different things. The small one holds things like nail clippers and tweezer. The middle one is holding jewelry and the large one is holding all of the hair accessories that have added up in this house. The latches are sturdy and move easily. They don't lock but that's not an issue. These are security boxes. The description also mentions a lining, but none of the boxes have one. That's not a deal breaker for me. I do think these are a little on the pricy side, but I do love these and they look great!
