This rug is genuinely exquisite. It is soft and it feels great on bare feet. I would describe the rug feeling like silk, it's not coarse or wooly.Pros:1. The packaging of the rug was high-quality thick plastic and each end was wrapped with a cardboard barrier, which in my opinion decreased the chance of shipping damage. The rug was left outside for a few hours after it was delivered and by the time I retrieved it, it was covered with a good layer of snow. The rug remained completely dry.2. The rug does not have an offensive chemical or rubber smell like some new carpets do. It smelled "new" (slight chemical smell) but it was not offensive. I was able to use is inside immediately and did not need to let it air out before using it.3. The rug comes with clear care instructions.4. The rug has short fibers, is easy to vacuum and does not shed (at all)Cons:1. The rug leaves fiber compression impressions and therefore the rug can appear "dirty" when the fibers are moved in opposite directions - important to vacuum in one direction only.2. The rug will require the use of a type of rug gripper or rug tape to keep it from sliding if it is going to be placed on hardwood or vinyl flooring.

Nice looking rug

This is a thin rug that has a great color to it. It does tend to roll up at the edges even after trying to keep it straightened out. Also this does not have a non-slip back to it so it will slide across tile and wood floors very easily. You will need to get some anti-slip material to put under it if you want it to stay in place.

Great for High Traffic Area

Nourison Nordic Taupe 5' x 7' Scandinavian Area Rug:As a mom and Grandma I try not to get things that I have to worry about getting dirty. I absolutely love how easy this is to clean due to the low profile. Not super thick but prefer that as it makes it so much easier to keep clean. Coloring works well in a variety of places but we are using in the living room/playroom for my grands. Great at keeping those feet warm on cold days instead of a hard wood floor.

Just as expected

This is a thin rug that comes rolled up. The edges were protected, so when it was opened the only problem was that it kept wanting to curl up on the edges. I rolled it up in the opposite direction and left it for a few minutes, unrolled it and it was better. After a few days, the edges were laying flat and there were no problems.As said, this is a thin rug, which is what I like. I put it over an old carpet that is a bit stained since I used to use this room as a painting studio. I like the way it lightens the room and pulls the blues and grays as well as the browns from the old wood desk and tables that are in this room.

I am very happy with this Nordic area rug. The rug is stylish yet classic. It is also very well-made. The design and colors (we ordered the grey multicolor) are striking yet somewhat muted. This allows it to go well with all of our couch, furniture and drapes in our home office. It also looks great contrasted with dark hardwood flooring. It is a durable rug that is easily vacuumed with a traditional vacuum cleaner (much more durable and easier to clean than those new washable rugs). I'm very pleased. The rug is quite sophisticated and looks great in the room!
