Wish I had known about this brand sooner. Great quality for the price, we used to just buy these from Home Depot and Lowes for 2-3x the price. It does the job and makes sure the rugs don't move around. Would buy again.
Reviewing the 2x3 pad, 2025-11-18.Well, first, out of the box, it does stink. Chemically. I am glad I do not work in that Chinese factory, and I pray for those who do. (And good luck getting it out of the package!)I just got it and tested it on my wife's new entry-way rug (cardinals, what can I say?), and I have to admit, it did work wonderfully -- for five minutes, so far. Then I had to "air" it outside : that smell, whew!I had earlier tried a few alternatives, but they interfered with the door opening (they made the rug too high). This one is thin enough, and "sticky" enough, to allow the door to open and the rug to stay put. My hope and expectation is that 1. It will last, and 2. It will not harm the hardwood floor.More later, as warranted. For now, for $7 : five stars, what can I say? Please wipe your shoes, and ignore the cardinals.

Works great! I bought a rug at an antique store that doesn’t grip at the bottom and needed something to keep it from sliding around. We’re in and out of the house a lot so this has helped keep the rug in place. It grips the floor but doesn’t stick the floor and can easily be picked up and moved to clean under it. We also have dogs that run and in and out of the house so it keeps it from being flung across the house when they run in. Would definitely purchase again for other rugs!
These are good rug pads. I have several antique Persian rugs and these work great.
Item is very thin, not a lot of lift or texture given to a rugbon top of it. It does hold the run in place well. Chemical smell and off gasing of product is beyond terrible. It gave me an instant headache and i had to open my house up on a cold winters night for air. Giving it 2 stars for doing its job but it came in a package that doesnt allow for it to be packaged back up and returned. Because i would return it for the smell alone. Stumped on options because smell is that bad.
Came compact and easy to use. fits under the rug no problem. Have bought another one in a 5x7 and also had no problem. This rug pad has decent cushion and does feel sticky to the touch.
