I am very happy with this rug pad. I got it to go under a rug that was sitting on hardwood floor and would slide every time the dog or a person walked on it. I was having to slide it back into place dozens of time each day. This one grips and holds the rug snugly in place. Yay!To get the length I needed, I had to order a pad that was too wide. This one is very easy to cut, with scissors, to whatever size you require. Because of the backing, it won't fray if it is trimmed to size.If you are looking for a PADDED rug pad, this one probably won't make you happy. It's only about 1/8 of an inch thick. However, it is a workhorse at holding a rug in place on my hardwood floor. Recommended.
Not really non slip. It basically slides all over our tile floors and it is VERY thin.
This rug pad's well worth its price. Slip resistance:It's got fantastic rubberized grip. And the felt feels like real felt--it holds onto the rug. This pad isn't going to slide anywhere. Size:Sized perfectly. It fit under my 8x10 rug without being too small or without needing trimmed. Thickness:Personally, I wish it was thicker--it's about the thickness of a thin rug--but it works great if your rug is in a doorway and you don't want to make it too thick. I don't consider this a flaw, so I didn't take off a star. Value for money:Well worth it.
I love having this padding. My rug doesn't move at all on top of it which makes it easy to vacuum, which means it works great! It's not thick so it doesn't create any tripping issues. The size is a little bigger than I expected, but it was easy to cut down. It definitely helps with shock absorption on the tile floor. It also helps the rug keep its shape. I would say it's an excellent value.
