First off, the quality of the blind is well built, seems very durable. The price is very good for the sizes I ordered including the solar panel. I wish they would offer some discount for quantity buying like other sells do! I also wish I could order custom sizes for my two family room windows as well! They are longer than what is offered here. Customer service is excellent. I purchased my first 4 blinds at one price and the blind went down a week later by $50 each. x 4 blind, so that was a lot of money. I asked customer service for a refund since it was only one week after I ordered the blinds and they graciously refunded the money. They did not have to, but they did, so that truly helped me decide to order the remaining 9 blinds I needed to finish my home. Since I already have a lot of other items connected to my Smart Life app, I was very happy to learn that with there recommend hub, I could connect the blinds as well. A big plus in my book. The directions are good, however i believe they should have a trouble shooting section so you can figure out what is happening or not happening. And one big flaw I see and will affect setting up the blind is that the blinds have a on/off switch on the back of the blind, on the same side as the charging port and mode button. So my first 4 blinds arrived with the switches set to on and my next 9 blinds had the switch set to off so with the 9 blinds, I could not pair any blind with the remote or app. And again, this switch is not mentioned in the instructions anywhere. By chance, I happened to have found the switch! All in all, I’m very happy with the blinds, the price, the way they operate, and of corse the customer service is amazing! One last thing I remember is that these blinds come extremely well packaged. They came via FedEx so I was thinking they might get bent here or there. The installation of these blinds is fantastic. If your size window is 50 1/8- 1/4" make sure get 50 1/2" blind. If your window is 49 1/2- 7/8" get the 50" blind. Get as close as you can to the size of your window even if you only have 1/8" to get the blinds in. It will work and be perfect. I'd rather have it closer to the sides of the window frame than farther away because you will have more light showing through on the sides with a smaller blinds and you will have to add shims, that are included, but will make the no-drill mounting weaker. Another thing I wish this seller would offer and that is a U channel or L channel for the sides. The U channels sold on Amazon won't work because they only fit 1/2" blind and these have a 5/8" at the bottom!
