These Roman Shades are sooooo Easy to Install

Oh boy, I really like these roman shades! They are just so darned easy to install. They literally took two minutes with a couple of turns of the hexhead wrench, and voila! Installed with no drill, no pain, and quick payoff. If you measure accurately, you will have no problem.Another thing I like about these shades is they don't require much of a window well, to install them inside the window. They literally only need an inch and one-half of space.The shades are of sturdy, washable cloth, and are room darkening.If a person is short, and they want the shade fully open, they might have a problem with reach, as the shade must be manually pulled up and down.I took some photos at around noon on a snowy day, so as to show how well this shade blocks light, which, in my opinion, is very well. You can also see how nicely the shade automatically folds up, really adding a nice look to any window.

They REALLY mean cordless

As a feminist homeowner, who has the power and ability to drill holes into the walls, you should see how I “fixed” the bathroom hook- I am annoyed with myself for waiting for my husband to install these. As usual- like a WIFE asking a HUSBAND to do something- I waited WEEKS for these to be literally easily placed into the window, with no drilling, measuring, math, critical thinking, or strength. These would have been easy for ME to install, if only I’d believed in myself. These are GREAT blinds, they block out the harshest, most intense and hot light! The only challenge these blinds face is that they will fall down if you tug them too hard (to close them) and so you need to support the tension rod as you pull the blinds closed, which could be a challenge if your window is long, or if your arms are too short.

No Drill Tension - Cordless - Roman Shade - Blackout Blind - Really Beautiful - So Easy To Hang

This is one shade, and the installation is genuinely simple thanks to the two part design. The mounting rail works much like a tension rod and fits securely inside the window frame without any tools. Once the rail is in place, the Roman shade attaches directly on top using pre-attached heavy duty hook and loop tape which makes alignment easy and keeps everything neat and stable.The inside mount sizing is well thought out with the shade made slightly narrower than the labeled width so it fits cleanly within the window frame. My window opening was about an inch wider than the shade, but it still mounted easily and looks finished and polished once installed.The cordless lift mechanism operates smoothly, and while my video shows a little movement as I raise and lower it during filming, it feels secure and functions very well in normal use. The blackout fabric provides excellent privacy and light control, and the linen style texture gives it a more decorative look than typical temporary blinds. The white color I chose also works beautifully in my neutral guest bath color scheme.Overall, this is a well designed, attractive window shade. At first I was a bit apprehensive about the current price of $44.99 when I received it for review. However after seeing how quick it hangs, the quality of the materials and how beautiful it looks, I can confidently recommend it as a great value on 1/19/2025.Thanks so much for reading my review :)

It almost fit perfectly...

Opening this up, I was surprised at how heavy the fabric was. However, since I was putting this over a window in the stairwell that leads to the basement, I appreciated that thickness because it would better insulate that window and block the light.Putting this up was a challenge, due to the location of the window, but with my wife's help we got it up fairly quickly. The instructions are clear, but I feel the tension-clips could be a bit stronger/stiffer, even after locking them. I'm worried it might get pulled down by accident.Also, while I measured the window and ordered the size based on their suggestion, there are rods with plastic end on them that stick out, and they just barely make the blind too wide. I don't think I could've gone a size smaller though, as again, I feel the tension-clips aren't pushing out enough already.If the tension clips could be extended out a bit more before locking them in place AND the size fit within the window frame, this would be perfect. Also, it doesn't look bad for almost $40.

This Atxbyoh No Drill Cordless Roman Curtain is an excellent find! It's heavy and sturdy, extremely well built. There is a linen material on the face side, and a vinyl material facing out that's white, as not to absorb more heat from the sun. The instructions are very easy to read, tool included and instalation only takes about 10 minutes (no kidding). Just be absolutely sure of your measurements before you order, there is VERY little room for error. Once installed it feels very stable and sturdy to pull down and push up. It is a blackout curtain, so be sure that is the effect you want. I highly recommend this product, you will NOT be disappointed!
