Rich and Stunning! Excellent quality fabric and workmanship.

Just WOW! The black is a true jet black in color, and total light blocking. These look absolutely rich and stunning on my 12' foot windows. The fabric is excellent quality. I would categorize it as something like a cross between micro suede and velvet, and it doesn't appear to attract dust, (yeah). It is lined with a good quality black satin. It has substantial in weight to it, but it's not too heavy. This is a perfect dramatic curtain for those who really want to amp up their style to the next notch. It becomes a beautiful statement piece when hung kissing the ceiling and dusting the floor. This curtain can add richness and sophistication to into a wide variety of interior décor styles when hung right. I've had them up for a week and the wrinkles are falling out of it, so I haven't gotten my steamer out yet. Honestly, these curtains are super quality for the money. They are easily worth double or triple the price tag.

Really pretty blackout velvet drapes

The drapes in my photos I am reviewing are the green and teal. These drapes are absolutely beautiful. They’re exactly what they’re supposed to be, blackout drapes, super soft velvet, 84 inches! The colors are really pretty, the green is just a bit lighter than expected but still really nice. I ordered different drapes prior to these and had to send them back because they weren’t true blackout. These are even thicker, better quality than drapes purchased at HomeGoods. I think these will definitely keep heat inside this winter, and cool in the summer months. One thing to note is 84 inches is the length of the entire drape, so if you want them lower and want to place your rod through the middle pocket and have some ruffling on top - place your brackets lower. Seems like common sense, but when moving your thoughts can be a bit scattered lol.I used a one inch rod, and the top pocket fits snug.(Please excuse the mess, as we are in the process of a big move. I just really wanted to get a review up because reviews helped me decide, so hoping this helps others. Also it’s worth mentioning I was not paid or reimbursed for my review.)

Beautiful color and great quality

I’m really impressed with these curtains. The velvet is soft without being shiny, and the slate blue color looks even better in person—it's a muted, calm blue that works with a lot of different decor. The panels have a good weight to them, so they hang straight and look more high-end than what I paid. I didn’t have to steam them much either, which was a nice surprise. The blackout part actually works. My room gets direct afternoon sun, and these cut the light down a lot and help keep the room cooler. I also noticed they make the space feel quieter and more insulated, especially at night. They’re easy to hang, the stitching is clean, and the fabric feels durable. I didn't notice a smell when they arrived and they were honestly pretty wrinkle resistant for being in the package so long.If you want something that feels cozy and luxe without spending a ton, these are a really good option. I wasn’t sure about ordering curtains online since I typically like to feel them, but these ended up being exactly what I hoped for.

I have these curtains in my den and primary bedroom. They are definitely worth every penny! Lush looking, block light and weather. Soft and smooth to the touch. I may end up with every room in my home with them.

Beautiful velvet - check for defects!

I was looking for a rich dark cerulean type of blue velvet curtains, most have too much of a red base. Navy can be too dull or dark (almost black). Royal too bright (and red based). So I ordered these curtains, and several others because I needed to match (or harmonize with) some walls that are already deep blue. The room was already a dark room, so painting it light didn't help. It actually made it more oppressive... the dark blue combined with awesome lighting makes it an oasis! I could not rely on most comments on colour because that varies a LOT (blues touch on both versions of colour blindness). People's eyes probably vary more than computers! These came first and were a very nice velvet. AND the right hue! But they weren't dark enough to contrast with the wall. I didn't take a photo of when I had a panel up. The room is still in process...Velvets are really tricky because they both absorb the light AND reflect it. This is a pro and a con. Some other panels arrived and I realized that darker was better, even if it strayed into the red shades (light rich navy, dark royal). It contrasted with the wall better AND both shades were in the bedding (along with some bright reds, oranges etc to brighten it all up). So I laid this panel out on the bed to fold it back up and THEN realized there were defects on it, and due to the colour/fabric (the sheen highlighted the dark marks) and direction (horizontal instead of vertical) they would have shown up once actually hung.I took photos of the defects for the review but with (oppressive) ceiling fan light. The colour looks horrible! So ignore that, it's the lighting (and the reddish discolouration must be from the light as well). Those marks are NOT in the texture, with the nap crushed the wrong way. In one photo you can see where I rubbed my fingers against it to verify. They are black "smudges". It appears that maybe something black was on the machine to fold the curtains, but there is at least one standalone mark as well (I only took out one panel).Overall... it's really pretty and I would buy again in a heartbeat - if it was the right darkness for this room.FYI, make sure to try the curtains in your exact environment/lighting (day and night) before making any final decisions!I took a comparison photo of several panels in daylight. And lamp light. I almost never opened the curtains I might keep, because they were the worst velvet (in the entryway daylight). In fact, I almost never opened them to try... But I wanted the pom poms for my Mexican Casita vibe. I am glad I tried them IN THE ROOM, because they may be the best after all (there is barely any difference between the two darker blues in the room). But I would never use them in a bright sunny room (at least that colour). The photos I took really illustrate the impact of lighting.
