They ARE THIN! But I like'em!!! I got the blackout curtains at first and didnt like the way they looked or felt BUT THESE!! They feel good, they dont have that blackout film on the back like the others & they just look better. They're for my basement window and the weight is not as important. I didnt give a 5 star just because of the weight of the curtain. But trademark, you can always send back. Hope this helps!!!
