I also bought these to help drown out my loud neighbors and they work pretty good! I can still hear my neighbors but the sound is muffled now and not as loud as before. What I love is how elegant these curtains are. They look like they are very expensive but they are not. The curtains are so think and durable and I can't get over how well they are made. They feel so luxurious! They are really nice and beautiful! They completely block out the light even during the brightest part of the day. Easy to Install and Truly Pitch Black
