Nautica's brilliant red door mat runner has a very stunning appearance with equally excellent quality and feel. The looming is tightly woven so the rug keeps it shape. The white outer edges is equally as beautiful as the allover red hue. The backing keeps this rug from sliding which is important for laying on my hardwood floors.Overall, I am very pleased with my Nautica brand floor rug and do recommend it.
Using rug as kitchen runner and adds the perfect pop of color with other accessories for the Christmas season. Quality is very good, white border is a true white and really pops. Be advised, the rug comes FOLDED, not tightly rolled as runners typically do. Upon receipt I immediately unpackaged and rolled it for a couple weeks but the long crease persists down the length of the rug. It's getting better but that's the only disappointing thing. The price point on the red color back in November made it a no-brainer purchase.
These rugs are very attractive but they are not going to hold up in the long term. I have had two of them for less than a month and have had to cut off breaks in the weave a bunch of times already. See photo.
Looks great and stays put! Love that it is washable. Black hides dirt. My other one has beige center and black trim, shows dirt easily. But it washes well. I moved it to lower traffic area and replaced with this one.
Not machine washable. I was worried about having a crease down the center as many reviews mentioned but mine arrived creaseless. It is a beautiful rug but I was surprised at the thick rubber backing as my other machine washable rugs do not have that but I read the tag on the rug and sure enough there were instructions as the listing also said “machine wash” DON’T DO IT!! Well unless you have a spare 4 hours to clean up the explosion of rubber bits from your washer (I didn’t notice them until I saw the dryer or I would have never put it in the dryer!) dryer, floors, clothes, shoes, and vacuum, etc. I followed the directions and washed it on delicate cycle cold water. I use non-toxic (Ecos detergent Free and Clear) and I dried on delicate air dry for 20 minutes.We were undergoing and kitchen renovation and had a delay so we have only used the runner for the last couple weeks even though we purchased it in August so of course past the refund window. I had heard Nautica products had really lost credibility and quality and now I’ve seen it for myself. Wow.
I really like these rugs. Great look and they do not slip on our hardwood floors. Only giving it a 3-star rating because I am on my third set of ordering these (wanted 4 total rugs / 2 sets) and the smaller rug shows up and has big creases I cannot get out. I have spent a month reverse rolling and placing heavy items to get them creases out and they do not come out. Larger rugs show up with no issues, only the smaller rugs. Still working with the seller on getting a small one that is not damaged. Seller has been easy to work with on replacements.
My son is a life long Nautica fan. He just moved into a new apartment, and this rug is perfect for bringing a bit of life to his kitchen! Sized just right, it's the right thickness for both durability and washability. Good job, Nautica!
