Terrible bonded lining

I was disappointed with these curtains. The brownish linen material was rather thin and did not seem durable. But what really bothered me was the black backing that was bonded to the curtain material. It was very shiny and reminded me of a trash bag that I would use to line a garbage can. Since this is what people would see from the exterior of my house when the curtains are shut, I could not live with the thought of people thinking that I hang trash bags as curtains. The liner really needs to have a matte finish to make it acceptable. The other issue was the very strong chemical odor of these curtains - again, probably the lining. I'm sure that would dissipate after some time, but waiting for the off-gassing to complete is likely a health concern. In the end, I returned the product.

100%blackout, great quality but color is darker than description

100% blackout curtains. I took away one star because I believe the color is darker than described. I actually ordered a second set in the same color Linen because I thought they accidentally sent Brown Linen but when I got the second order it was the same dark color. The quality is great. My only complaint is the color. It is more of a khaki.
