We purchased the 8ft tree for our lake house bc we needed something with height. We didn't really want to spend a fortune so thought we'd give this a try based on other reviews. I must say it's pretty nice for just $140! Pretty self explain story and easy to put together. Like others have mentioned in reviews, take your time fluffing and gently pulling the branches and the tree will really take shape and look pretty realistic.
The tree appears extremely realistic at medium or long indoor distances. You can take some time gently bending the branches to give a more realistic appearance, like arcing them as if gravity was pulling on the branches as they grew. The way the tree was designed and where the different branches are located is very aesthetically appealing. There are variations in the color of the individual leaves. The top surface of the leaves has a somewhat shiny satin finish on them, which makes them look realistic, because if you think about what a real live leaf looks like, it has a similar sheen to it. If you wanted to make the tree appear even more real up close you could do your own DIY work on it, such as lightly brushing the trunk with some paint to emphasize the 3d texture that's already present. There is one seam on the trunk where two of the tree pieces connect that is very visible up close. You will of course need to supply your own pot to display the tree in because the one it comes in is very small. It is however a very heavy concrete-filled pot, which gives it a strong base of support for holding up the tree. I'm glad I spent the time looking through Amazon listings to decide on this tree.
Great height! Needed something for my living room and this worked perfectly. Love that I don’t have to water it. Easy to put together and fluff branches. Got a nice pot and filled it with pool noodles and Spanish moss on top.

The tree is very nice in terms of quality and appearance. Unfortunately, I purchased a 7 foot tree and it’s actually about 6 feet tall. The box even said 7 feet so I’m not sure what’s going on.
