Very nice blinds!!

I really like this company, MyShade! I've been replacing all the shades in my house, and the ones I got by this company are so far the best. I like the double-direction feature that lets me pull down the top to let in natural light while providing privacy. The sliding method is smooth, doesn't catch, and glides up and down with little pressure. I had to return two b/c I ordered the wrong length, and that process was easy, as was ordering a "custom" order length and width, which came in 7 days! So fast for a custom order from China. Color options are great, though we stuck with white and can choose between black out or transparent. Install was easy and straightforward! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful and effective

Husband said they were easy to install. We are very happy with the blackout effectiveness. They look nice and are easy to raise and lower. I will lower from the top most often, thus maintains our privacy while still letting in the light. I am not tall enough to reach the top comfortably and would have liked a reach extender to be included or at least an available option but I am sure I will come up with something. The only negative I can think of is the material on mine seems to be a bit more paper like than fabric as was stated in the description but it feels heavy duty and we are so pleased with the overall product we didn’t even consider returning them. Tried purchasing cut to fit shades from the two big DIY chain stores. It suffices to say both had the shades and the cutting machines but neither had the staff to help us so we wasted our Saturday, gave up and went home empty handed. I recommend you skip the store and order from Amazon and do something you enjoy on Saturday. I ordered on Sunday, they arrived Monday while and the next Saturday we slept in (in the dark). These were exactly the same price as the cut to fit roller shades in the store we were considering and are much better looking with the additional top down feature. Now I am glad no one was available to assist us at the store!

Could not be happier with this purchase!

Finally replaced some old mini blinds on my huge front windows. I grabbed these honeycomb blackout shades in beige (kinda wanted gray) because of the insanely low price in the particular size I needed, but that price was only for the beige (compromised and picked up some sheers that are both beige and gray, as you can see in pics). I did have to take off end caps, as shown in my hand, because the shades are exactly the width of my interior mount, but the end caps add a smidge more, so they wouldn’t fit until I removed them. I’ve shown a pic with just one of the shades fully up, behind my sheers, as well as all of them covering just 2/3 of bottom, to demonstrate that they are truly “blackout.” I love that I can have total privacy, or block out light shining on my tv, by day, but still have a lot of light from the upper part of my windows, or I can fully open them and enjoy my full view, filtered by my sheers. The quality of these shades seems really great, so far. Only time will tell how long they’ll hold up.

Dog owner who now gets natural light AND no barking

Honestly obsessed with them. As a dog owner on a busy street where people are constantly walking by, my dogs don’t stop barking out the window. It caused me to have to shut my blinds 24/7 which means no natural light.
