Works Okay

Shades are easy to hang if your window header cooperates and is the same depth across the whole window. These shades block the light fine and seem easy to raise and lower. Our shades are in a guest room and are not raised and lowered daily so their durability has not been tested, tho they do stay at the height they are set. Regarding their insulating properties, one could say perhaps a bit. One of the three shades ordered was not even packed in a box and was naturally destroyed in shipping, necessitating a return and a wait for a replacement. These shades are not inexpensive, so whether they are good value for the money will depend on how well they last and perform over time.
