I've been using essential oils and fragrance blends in my diffuser for about 3 years now, mostly sticking to basic scents like lavender and eucalyptus. Decided to try something more complex after reading about this "luxury hotel" inspired blend.Scent Profile: The fragrance is definitely sophisticated and multi-layered. When it first starts diffusing, I pick up the cooler iris and violet notes - very fresh and clean. As it settles, the sandalwood and cedar come through with a warm, woody base that's really pleasant. The amber adds a subtle richness without being overpowering.Performance: A little truly does go a long way. I use about 4-5 drops in my 300mL diffuser and it fills my living room (about 400 sq ft) nicely for 3-4 hours. The 10mL bottle has lasted me about 6 weeks with regular use 3-4 times per week.Quality: You can tell this isn't just basic fragrance oil. The scent develops and changes as it diffuses, which cheaper oils don't do. It mixes well with the water and doesn't leave residue in my diffuser.Why Not 5 Stars: The "Tuscan leather" note mentioned in the description is barely detectable to me - I was hoping for more depth from that element. Also, while the scent is lovely, it doesn't last quite as long in the air as I'd like. After about an hour, it becomes fairly subtle.Overall: This is a really nice upgrade from basic essential oils if you want something more complex and luxurious. Nice... I might use it as a perfume
This has the OG Labo vibes as a scent, which I personally feel smells like wealth. It's so crazy since the higher end Marriot chain hotels all had this scent.If you are wanting your home or office to remind you of high end W hotel during it's prime era in the late 2000s and early 2010s, this is your scent. I put it on a piece of ceramic and let it permeate the air all day. But part of me is htinknig I should just put it on my skn and use it as perfume. Looks like they are only using oil so it should stay pretty potent that way. Plus it's small so it packs easily.
