I came back for more.
I purchased the smaller size a while ago while re arranging the library wall, and I was super pleased with the construction, quality, the look, and the price. They come with non-slip stick on pads that aren't attached, which is really nice to have to the option of using them with or without.A simple, good looking design rounds out a full package of what I guess you'd have to call features, although that's hard to actually say about such a minimalist style object, but they really do pack a lot in. They're not too heavy or lightweight, the metal support stand goes into the wood a good ways, the wood is smooth and the finish is nice, not too shiny or flat. For the price these are hard to beat if they're your style.

Elegant and simple.
These look beautiful. Wood is smooth and rich. It makes for a very understated elegant bookend. I use mine in my office with my craft supplies and books.

Nice Book Ends
Nice and solid and does what it's supposed to do. Comes with pads that prevent the book ends from sliding or damaging surfaces. Good to go.

They’re fine enough.
Relatively attractive in that they’re not attention-getters and they don’t take up space on the shelf. I fondin’t use them In a conventional sense. I gave wayyyyyyyy too many books, so I have my unread future choices in the headboard of the bed frame. It’s important not to have bookends that don’t grip at the bottom and that don’t slip out! These don’t. I also use them on bookshelves in the closet under a stairwell where the angled. ceiling makes vertical storage of wrapping paper poles awkward. I have about 20 or so tubes of wrapping paper stacked up behind them which is why I wanted their sides to be high. I lined up the tubes of wrapping paper on their long sides with the bookends holding the tubes on the relatively narrow (but long) bookshelves. And the tubes get stacked up to the tops of the book ends that are spaced every 16 to 18 inches along the wide shelves. I use different kinds of bookends. I’m not sure if I have to stack one on top of the other with these for extra weight in the closet to keep them from tipping over and out. The books on the bed frame top are heavy enough to hold them down (though on the bed frame the nonslip footing is more important to prevent slippage.)

These are quite nice -- attractive and functional
These are lovely walnut bookends with a simple design. Sturdy enough for my textbooks. Note that the little nonslip patches that come with them have 8 little circular pads per large rectangular pad. I missed that, and bugged the seller for more pads, which they kindly provided. Only then did I realize that it was my mistake.
