I would give this rug 4.5 stars because the listing photos led me to believe it was red, but in person it appears brown. I took it outside to view it in natural sunlight, and in certain lighting it can look slightly reddish or even purple. I viewed the listing on multiple monitors, and the color still appeared red. Most of the time, the actual tone is a warm brown. It is still beautiful and well made, but the photos do not accurately reflect the true color in all lighting. This mat is somewhat of a chameleon depending on the environment. Since a 4.5 rounds up and there is nothing wrong with the mat, I'm leaving 5 stars.The listed dimensions of 31 x 47 inches are accurate.The top fabric is soft and silky to the touch and feels very pleasant on the hands. There is a noticeable amount of cushioning, which makes kneeling or sitting on it comfortable even for extended periods. The design is clearly defined and has a subtle three dimensional texture that adds depth rather than appearing flat or printed.The floral pattern on the backing gives the appearance of being slip resistant, but it is not truly a grip backing. That said, I did not experience slipping or sliding during use.The stitching that constructs the tassels on each end are slightly uneven and move around a bit. They appear to be hand finished, so some variation should be expected. The minor irregularities in the tassels add character rather than taking away from the overall quality. The rug provides enough room to be comfortable but it can be folded up compactly for travel. The slight fold line down the middle rubbed out with the warmth from my hands.Aside from the color discrepancy in the listing photos, this is a high quality rug with good construction, accurate sizing, comfortable cushioning, and thoughtful design details. Super soft and actually lays flat

Very Plush, Roomy, Beautiful Rug
Wow! This prayer rug offered more than I expected. It’s very big, probably twice the size I imagined and is very thick and super plush and soft. The color is just like the photo a fireplace orange-red with little fringes.
