Perfect for my French doors. Heavy duty magnets hold up my curtains well- although if my dogs jump on the door sometimes they'll pull it down..but thats to be expected with magnets.So far have held up well, its been a few months for these ones.The color matches what I needed and theyre incredibly easy to stick to metal.Perfect size and thickness for my needs and worth the money.
This works well and is strong when at accurate length. If opened to the max, as with any rod, it won't hold the weight so make sure you get the appropriate length to the edge of the window.
If you have a metal door, or sidelights frame, these are terrific. They go up in a flash and are easy to reposition. Compared to trying to hang a conventional curtain rod, these are great. The instructions, though are laughable - they don’t even mention that you need to put the rods into the end pieces before you put them on the door. And, although these are simple to hang, the instructions also neglect to tell you that the “skinny” end of the rod goes into the end piece with the little plastic teeth in it, while the “fat” end of the rod goes into the end without the teeth. While that seems simple, since you have no clue when you pick up the first end piece that the two end pieces are not identical, you can get pretty frustrated if you are trying to put the “fat” end of the rod into the “skinny” end of the end piece. When you add in how much these cost for something so simple, I took off one star.
I love these curtain rods. They are magnetic, so easily removed for cleaning. The magnet is strong and holds well without damaging the paint job. They feel like metal, and look much more expensive than they are. If you have an insulated metal-core door frame with sidelights, this is the way to go!
Works perfectly, the magnets are quite strong. Unless you're hanging a 10 ft Medieval tapestry, it'll likely work for curtains of pretty much any material (where did you get that tapestry, anyway?)I didn't even know these magnetic curtain rods existed, I wish I would've known about them years ago.
It holds well for the most part, looks cute, good size, my only complaint is how easy the magnets detach from the item and the marks it’s leaving on my door. Maybe it’s because my curtains are too long because it’s constantly getting yanked off and hitting the ground. But other than that I do like them.
