This rug, with its stark black background and geometric gold lines, brings a sense of order and hallowed darkness to the room.While the description says "Mid-Century," to my eye, the pattern feels more like abstract Art Deco or the lead lines of a stained glass window. The black is deep and matte, and the gold lines are muted rather than gaudy, fitting perfectly into the Sacramental palette of my home altar.Living with a connective tissue disorder means I have to be ruthless about tripping hazards. This rug is explicitly ultra-thin and low pile. For anyone using a walker or wheelchair indoors, this is a significant advantage. My mobility aids glide over the surface without getting caught, and the non-slip backing provides the stability I need to move with confidence. It doesn't bunch up or slide, which is a non-negotiable safety feature for the Living Temple.It arrives folded, so there are creases initially. Yay! A washable rug that’s actually soft!

I’m really happy with this MUJOO rug. I was expecting something a bit stiff since it’s a low-pile washable rug, but it’s actually surprisingly soft underfoot. The black and brown abstract pattern is gorgeous in person. It gives off that perfect Mid-Century Modern vibe and adds a lot of warmth to the room without being overwhelming.The quality is impressive. The threading around the edges is totally flawless, with no loose strings or messy stitching. It honestly looks much more expensive than it actually is! Plus, being able to toss this in the washer AND the dryer is a total game-changer. It’s ultra-thin, so it doesn't bulk up in the machine.A note on the backing: The chain-glue non-slip backing is great for hard floors, but I decided to try it over my low-pile carpet under my desk. I’m using my desk and a walking pad to help hold it in place, which works okay, but it’s not perfect. When I roll my office chair over it, the rug definitely scrunches up and shifts around on the carpet fibers. I might end up regretting the placement eventually, but for now, it’s there! If it starts to really bother me, I’ll move it to my entry where it’s hardwood. It thin enough that it won’t get caught under the front door.I’d definitely recommend this specifically for hardwood, tile, or laminate floors where the grip can actually do its job. It's a fantastic rug and the colors are stunning…just maybe not the best for layering over wall-to-wall carpet if you plan on rolling a chair over it.Quick thing to note: It arrives folded, so expect some creases at first. They relax and disappear after a few days, so just give it a little time to settle!

Good value, Quality work

I picked the black and white, 5x7 rug. We've just had distressed gray oak flooring laid, with white baseboards and Valspar's Drum Skin-7003-10 on the walls. The match looks like a professional decorator set it up. The geometric design and bold colors gives the area clean, crisp feel. Because I've only had the carpet a short time, I cannot speak to what will happen if laundried. But we had already had to spot clean and that went well. Plus the material seems to dry very rapidly which cuts down on restraining but usage. The outside hemming, and the weave of the carpet, are strong and finished out well.I don't know it you've priced rugs or flooring recently, but the price on this rug was is slightly lower than market rate in my area. That's wonderful, especially in this particular economy. I have the rug in the middle of the dining room, with high table and chairs, in black. It has not slipped once. I am partially disabled, and slippage is a big hazard for me. In case you're still worried, Amazon has some wonderful corner attachments that work a treat for this. The pricing lends itself to making this a lovely gift. While it's modern and beautiful looking, it will work well in a professional environment. I would buy this soon as these types of bargains never seem to last long.

Super Soft Rug

I have cats, and while I have litter mats that get most of the litter, they still tend to track some of it elsewhere and it would fall in the cracks between my hardwood floors (which is a pain to vacuum up). I got this rug to try and get what the litter mats can't, and so far it's working very well! The rug is SUPER soft (which both I and my cats like), and while it arrived folded there were no creases or anything that needed smoothing out once I placed it out. It's a decent weight, too. The color/image is true to the listing picture. My only complaint is that, even though it's a decent weight for a smaller rug and is advertised as being non slip, it crumples and slides really easily. I have a thinner waterproof mat underneath (just in case with the cats), but even that won't stop the rumpling and sliding, even with the slightest movement. It would probably do best with some of the rug tape instead of just a non-slip pad. Overall I'm really happy with it, and it does the job I needed it to do.
