I got this for my daughter as a gift on that special day!"Mom" is in a dusty blue v-neck gown holding the bride's hand and touching her face with the other. The bride is in a gown with a sweetheart neckline gown with her hair pulled back on each side with flowers accenting the back of her hair. There are no faces painted, so it leaves that abstract and I think it is very clever. It is a matte finish. It is not super heavy, but it feels very sturdy.
