Beautiful for the price

I bought this knowing that it wasn’t an actual braided rug as I had previously bought a smaller one on a different site. Actual braided rugs this size run about 5x as much as this one. So if that’s what you’re looking for, save your pennies until you can afford one.For me, these are perfect. I have 2 cats and hardwood floors, so I just needed something they could play on without sliding all over the place when chasing each other or their toys. Amusing as it is for me, I’m sure they don’t find it quite as funny.They look pretty and are very soft, just don’t inspect them with a magnifying glass and you’ll be happy with them. Yep, they are thin compared to way more expensive rugs, and if you have a powerful vacuum, it will probably suck up the corners. I have a cordless vacuum that I put on the lowest setting and it works perfectly.I’ve read other reviews about the wrinkles and how they put heavy furniture on them to get the wrinkles out. That’s not the way to fix them. As long as they are in a high traffic area, every day walking on them will smooth them out in about a week or so, depending on how much they are walked on. I shuffle around on them in my socks to get most of the packaging wrinkles out, and the cats do the rest.If you’re looking for a high end rug for cheap, check estate sales. If you’re like me and don’t have the time for that but want/need a rug, these are great for the price.I unfortunately have to return it for two unforeseen reasons. One, it has more white in it than my current one which I didn’t realize by the pictures. Two, it’s bigger than my current one, therefore the pattern doesn’t match up with my tv stand. I could probably work around number 2, but the white is too much.
