This curtain rod is sturdy and beautiful. If you are looking for a bright warm golden rod this is for you. Easy to install. Great appeal. The price is great for what you get. I purchase two of the rods. By the way the finials are large and attractive, they are definitely a statement piece.
Some of the images in the reviews had me worried because people were receiving this item broken, however, I have ordered two of them in two different shipments and they both arrived intact. My husband installed them and had no issues. I'm happy with the style and quality. I think the matte black finish could scratch easily if you're not careful. All in all, it's sturdy and stylish. Like I said, I ended up ordering a second one because I was pleased with the first!
When using the curtain rod extended to nearly the full width, ~220", the rod begins to bow and come apart at the splicers. It comes with only 4 brackets, bu really needs 5 to be extended. As is typical with Amazon sellers, customer svc is pretty poor. They won't send an additional bracket. They really should include 5 brackets with this size of rod. BTW, I don't even have my drapes on it yet. Just two temporary lightweight curtains to block out the part of the window my neighbors can see into. I had to order some extra brackets from another seller on Amazon. What an insult.

I love how trick they look and they truly stand out as heavy duty …. Just note they are very sedative to scratches and I had to get a few replacements since I ordered like 7 rods some of them came in scratched and damaged . But once u get it up there it looks great
As described. Very sturdy for such a long reach. I would recommend especially for heavy drapes. And it looks great too!
