Sturdy for long spans
I've struggled to find a double rod that would work to span the large double slider in my family room, so I was pleased to find these. They are sturdy and well made. I had to combine several lengths, but the joints are solid. The installation instructions are actually helpful, and I'm very satisfied with how this turned out.The hardware throughout my house is oil rubbed bronze. I couldn't find a double rod to match, so I ordered this in the gray. It looks great together. From any distance, the gray blends in just fine and isn't as harsh as black would have been.

I absolutely recommend these!
I wasn’t sure about these as I had ordered these, then afterwards read some of the negatives reviews.BUT, these are really well made and the 5 foot rods ARE one piece and solid. I also had no problem installing these with the hardware provided.I am super happy with these and highly recommend. Such a nice quality and not super expensive.

Buy these! They are gorgeous and functional!!!
These rods look so gorgeous in my bedroom! I have temporary drapery up now at the moment, using the rod pocket. When I get my new custom panels, I will order rings to go with it. Both the temporary panels and my new pleated ones are pretty heave lined velvet: six widths total. These heavy sturdy rods hold them just fine, very sturdy. We pull the drapes open and closed every day and the rods don’t wiggle or sag at all. One of my favorite things about this is that the rods piece together with an interior screwed splice, so no visible bump like a telescoping rod would have. As a retired interior designer, I recognize quality when I see it: these look like very expensive custom rods that I used to order at designer to the trade only showrooms.Also, the finish is gorgeous and they were easy to install!
