Simply Elegant, Perfect Light

Shopping for drapes is time-consuming, as I compared various options. Honest reviews are important, especially with regard to texture, color and light filtration claims. These curtains are simply perfect for my library / music room! I had not had curtains in that room, not wanting to obstruct the view, and most of the day, there’s only indirect sunlight. However, I needed something to filter the direct sunlight for 2-3 hours in the afternoon, so I could more easily read, use my laptop, etc from my chair. These are exactly as described!! Real linen and real classy

Purchased these curtains on sale and I’m very happy with them. I wanted some linen light-filtering curtains and I received exactly what I wanted. They look wonderful and the material is pleasant. There was a nice little note from the seller and they come with cords to tie back the curtains. There are also weights in the bottom which I really appreciate! The panels are the perfect size for the window. If you are expecting these to be insulated this is not the product you’re looking for, they’re meant to allow light in while providing class and privacy. Try them out!

Perfect in every way for my living room

I got these curtains because of the intense glare of the afternoon sun through west facing windows. The curtains soften the glare without cutting out the light.. I was reluctant to put up curtains because my bay windows are surrounded by rich unpainted old pine wood and paneling. But to my surprise the off white linen fabric adds to the beauty of the room. As a seamstress myself I am impressed by the quality of the fabric and construction.. Did have to steam iron them, but was able to remove the wrinkles fairly fast. Very pleased I got these curtains.

89848 works for what I wanted

I did a bit of research before purchasing these curtains because I wanted certain features and didn't want to pay too much. This is a semi-sheer curtain. It looks somewhat like a polyester semi-sheer curtain from afar; however, when you look closer, you can see the weave and the fabric looks more natural. The color trends to a beige tone. I do not believe that the fabric is 100% linen, but I believe there is some linen in them. I took a chance and I bleached the curtains because I wanted a lighter shade; there were no issues or damage to the fabric from my bleaching them. I then put them in the dryer on low heat. The fabric held up well after they were bleached and put in the dryer. The curtains did not shrink at all from washing and drying. There are a few wrinkles after washing and drying, but not as many as I would expect with pure linen. I will need to steam the curtains to get out the few remaining wrinkles. I was looking for a curtain that was light-filtering but semi-sheer, so this curtain fit the bill. I bought the curtains a little longer than I needed, but since they did not shrink when washed and dried, they are a bit longer than I had hoped (I bought the 90 inch), but still work OK. These do not look like luxurious linen curtains, but I like the look ok , so they work for what I wanted. One last thing, the manufacturer's tag is sewn into the bottom seam of the curtain. The tag is red. You can see the red from the tag at the bottom of the curtain. The tag would be much better if it were white so it wouldn't be as noticeable.
