Well-sized vase. Easy to assemble and place at gravesite.
I placed many of these, with flowers in them, at various graves. I checked on them 1 month later, after some horrendous rain and wind storms, and hot sun (Kansas plains), and they were still standing where I put them, flowers intact. They come as vase and spiked frame for the vase, easily assembled. The spike is metal and has a dull point and was easily pushed into the hard cemetary ground. I bought styrofoam plugs that fit the vase at a dollar store, and used styrofoam glue that I purchased on Amazon, and it dried with an almost caulk-like feel. I used the glue to secure the flowers to the styrofoam. It held the flowers securely. I also sprayed the flowers with an anti UV ray clear paint after I had finished the arrangements, to preserve the color and stiffness (they were not expensive silk flowers). Hopefully all the water that accumulates in the vase will drain out through the hole in the bottom (they have rubber plugs so you can keep water in them for fresh flowers.)

Stays put, but not with winds over 60mph
We bought 4 for each seasonal display of faux flowers. We did fresh flowers with water too. Very sturdy stakes for our 50-60mph winds in a field-like cemetary. You'll have to buy/make new styrofoam inserts if you change displays which is acceptable. EDIT: Sadly, 62mph winds sent the metal vases flying—we will have to drill holes & wire them to the stake it comes with AND the internal styrofoam.

My friend passed w/ usual circumstances. Long story short, we had to set up his burial for a grave side service. I bought these to hold some roses. They worked great and looked great too.There’s inner foam inside the base that’s initially difficult to remove. It’s very soft and crumbly, you can punch your fingers in and it will pull right out.
