Sturdy, Cute Bookends That Keep Our Shelves Organized
These bookends have some weight to them, which is really good if you have larger books that need to be secured. We have a variety of small, medium, and tall books, and these bookends hold them in well. They don’t budge or slowly slip over time from the heaviness of the larger books, and they sit flush on the bookshelf, no wobbliness We are a cat family, so these were perfect to have on our bookshelf and so much fun to look at too. At first, I was unsure about the two different color cats, but once they’re on the shelf, they actually look really nice. The way we decided to use the bookends is that the adults in the family, use the blue cat as that is the favorite color for our mom, and the kiddos get the multicolored cat bookend to hold the children's books. Now for a small downside: although I appreciate the wording along the frame of each bookend, it takes away from the frame itself. I would have preferred the wording to be on the back of the bookends—maybe on the flat part where the bookend slides under the book. It would still be seen each time the bookend is moved. For me, the wording on the front takes away from the portrait of the cat the front, but that is just my deal, and possibly not a deal breaker for anyone else.

Vibrant colors. One was more curved.
They are cute and look as pictured in the listing. I considered taking a star off my rating because the pair I received is not entirely symmetrical: on one of the bookends, there's more of a curve at the edge between the front and bottom of the bookend. As a result, one of the bookends sits slightly lower than the other. But in actual use the bookends are not side by side anyway so ultimately it's not a huge deal, but I would still expect perfect if I had ordered this at full price. For me this is a 4.5 product, but rounding up to 5.The colors are very vibrant in person. The type of books I usually have trouble keeping upright on shelves are tall and skinny books like piano books, card binders—stuff that's tall but not thick and/or sturdy enough to stand on their own. These bookends fare well with those along with other more normal books (like novels).Overall I like them and feel they're pretty true to pictures, so would still recommend them.

I love these! (except for the text, but it's kind of small)
These are just so cute and practical.They are feel sturdy and solid and are doing a fine job holding a mix of books, including heavy textbooks. The cats are adorable. I'm not a huge fan of the writing up and down the right edge, but it's pretty small and kind of fits in with the look.They match the pictures and description on the product page and for the current price ($9.99) I think they are a great value for home, a classroom, or a gift.

Colorful Design
These kitty cat bookends are made of metal. Have weight to them since they are made of metal but not to the point of being heavy. The design gives a stain glass appearance. Seem strong. One arrived not entirely straight but I was able to straighten it up. Came with stick on pads along with screws and anchors as well. Doubt I’ll use the anchors but the pads can be put on the bottom to prevent sliding. Good height to hold an average size book. Great look for on your bookshelf or holding cook books in your kitchen. Very cute.

Beautiful cat book ends
These are fabulous. The metal is not too heavy, but definitely heavy enough to keep books in line. I have other ideas for these though. I think they'll be great as candle holders or even just decorative accents. The colors on the book ends are great, very vivid and bright. For any cat lover these would be great. I love them!
