The Bakhoor Burner is a beautiful piece, whether it's used purely as decoration or for burning incense. It is beautifully cast, offers a lovely polish, and is made well. It's easy to use: open the lid, place your cone in, light it, and cover it. The price is reasonable, considering it's a functional piece of artwork. The aromas offered are pleasant, with no metallic scent detected.
I was amazed when I opened the box and set my eyes upon the intricate incense burner enclosed!The first thing I was impressed with was its size. My mind had not processed nor paid attention to the dimensions when I ordered this. But, now that I have it, I am so happy and more than impressed with how large it is!The handle's metal is somewhat thin and you can reposition it. The base, the burning section, is a thicker metal, more appropriate for burning incense. This is designed so the fragrant smoke escapes the burner and spreads throughout its area. Very, very nice.As you can see in my pictures, this incense burning kit contains the exquisite burner, the ash receptacle, the lid, a pair of decorative tongs, a "keychain" with a clear plastic circle where you can write something, perhaps something for which you are meditating. I tried writing something on the clear piece but decided I'd rather hang a charm on it instead, so I took a cross off of another piece of unused jewelry and attached it to the chain. It also contains an air purifier to hang somewhere, maybe your car. It has a lovely rose scent.Another thing I must bring attention to are the rhinestones! I love rhinestones! They are so sparkly, so celebratory!I will be using this daily.
I was honestly a bit worried at first because resin burners have to handle some serious heat, and I’ve had others melt or warp in the past. But this one really held up! It’s metal, not ceramic, so no cracking or weird smells when using charcoal. I used it with a charcoal disk and some frankincense and it worked beautifully. The heat didn’t transfer to the handle at all, which is huge , I could move it around safely without gloves or tongs (though it does come with tongs, which is a nice touch). Plus, it’s actually really pretty and doesn’t look cheap sitting on my altar. Definitely a functional and decorative little burner... I'm happy with it!
