Ingenious Little Connectors — Absolutely Perfect for Bay Windows!

I never knew I needed these until I bought a house with a slight bay window — and suddenly, my curtain rod plans got complicated. These MERIVILLE Hinged Elbow Connectors are, honestly, ingenious. They solved the problem instantly and worked exactly as described. They bend smoothly, hold the rods securely, and make the whole setup look clean and intentional rather than awkward. Installation was super easy!I’m including a picture with my review because they really do make a difference. If you’re dealing with a bay or angled window and need your rods to flow seamlessly, these connectors are a must. Highly recommend!

Wonderful - truly perfect for my bay windows

These saved me! We have several bay-type windows and have been hanging curtains for them. I was really stumped how to make the rods work. With the first set, we ended up taking the finials off of the ends so that the rods sort of made a V shape, but it wasn't perfect. My next set of bays were trickier with the angles... and so I started looking into options... surely someone else has this issue?! I found a really helpful blog where the blogger showed these elbow connectors that she used... but hers were a very expensive brand. I was thrilled to find these affordable ones and they work PERFECTLY. They join the rods, essentially into one so that I have the flexibility to move the curtains and to make them look seamless where the windows join.

Nifty! Great for bay window curtains!

These worked perfectly to link three rods fo curtains for our bay windows. It was a very economical solution when I was trying to figure out how to have privacy and something that looks nice, without breaking the bank. These connectors made that happen! My husband did the install without any trouble- just have to think things through and figure out ahead of time how to get the rods to be hung how you want.

EASY and ACCURATE

I only gave this a 4 star rating because I received the wrong size. The color and function is easy and accurate. I am returning these for the correct 1" diameter size needed for my curtain rods.

Perfect solution

One of these suckers solved my corner curtain problem. I have two windows in the corner of my bedroom - very awkward. Used one of this set of two to connect two 3/4” Crate & Barrel curtain rods I had from before. The curtains meet in the corner, so the slight difference between the 3/4” rod and the 1” connector is completely unnoticeable. Just make sure you mount the curtain rod bracket as far into the corner as possible. My brackets actually hold the connector, not the rods. Very pleased; a simple yet elegant solution! I purchased a set of magnetic rope curtain tiebacks . During the day I simply loop them around the two curtains that open to the corner to keep them together.
