Such a beautiful, curtain rod.1. The gold true to gold (not piss yellow)2. The “stone” ends are fully polished they fit well in the rod.3. All the parts came in.4. First off, I love this curtain rod. It looks great. It’s pretty much exactly what I wanted. I’ve been wanting to take down vertical blinds and put up a darkening curtain over a sheer one. I needed a long curtain as well bc it’s 3 windows wide.I should have realized this I guess but when I saw the max length, I assumed I could hit that max and have an overhang on either side of the window. The rod is 3 pieces so you obviously (in retrospect) need that overhang at each joint for stability. I had to redrill holes due to that oversight, but luckily I had some anchors on hand. Definitely lay it out before drilling. On the other hand, if your windows are 120” in length, you’re out of luck. Mine are 104” and I don’t know how much wider I would recommend.
These rods look very nice with my new curtains, they are just what I was looking for. Now I'm shopping for new bedding! They came well packaged and in new condition. I have purchased 2 sizes so far, and I will be purchasing 2 more rods in the near future. These rods are good, and so far are holding up, however, the brackets seem a bit weak. I purchased longer screws and made sure to secure them to studs, but they flex quite a bit. Everything has become so expensive recently that I don't feel I am getting a good value for my money.
Pros: Super cute and trendy curtain rod. Price seemed too good to be true but the curtain rod is really great quality! Easy to assemble and looks aesthetically pleasing!Cons: You really need to tighten the small bolts super tight in order to keep the rod from moving when you open and close the curtains. Used our own gold wood screws to install brackets.
It went up like a charm and I am super pleased the product. Just follow the printed directions that come with the rods and it is easy to install.
Substantial and classy. Pre-drilled holes and had the hardware installed and drapes hung in 30 minutes. I recently refreshed a tired guest room with new paint, bedding, drapes and sheers, all in neutral beige, taupe and white tones. After 10 years of mini blinds,I was looking for nice hardware to substantially upgrade the window treatment. The Meriville 1" goldtone rod with white marble finials was an perfect choice and the look is elegant.
I was nervous to order these curtain rods without actually feeling the quality and weight, but was very pleasantly surprised!! very good quality, and they look amazing hung up in my new living room! plus, they match an end table I have perfectly!
