Very well made bought for Cousins wake, would defiantly buy again I made a ribbon for it placed a few red berries n a little white bird n nest, tuned out very special!!! GREAT FOR THE MONEY will definitely buy again.

This is a good price lantern for my home, but packaging design limits me from giving this as a gift.The lantern is made of metal and nice glass with cute design on the glass that is easy to clean. It is not extremely heavy and the hook on top is a sufficient size to hold the weight of the lantern on a hook and comes with a remote that allowed me to turn it off and on as well as set time duration of lighting. Only problem that I had was that I could not get the remote to Increase the brightness or dim the candle inside of the lantern.This made a great lantern for my home, however, I noticed that the box that came with the lantern stated this was a memorial lantern and had words of sympathy. It is almost as if the company initially manufactured the lantern as a memorial lantern and then decided to market it as a Christmas lantern. Clearly, I would never be able to give this as a gift.
This lantern was perfect for our play with so many options. The size ,functionality, brightness, and value for the money is perfect.
I'm reviewing "Christmas Candle Lantern Metal wtih LED Flickering Flameless Candles" that was priced at $29.99 at the time I received it. But since that time the price is now $36.99.This lantern comes prepackaged in a very nice gift box, which would definitely be great for gift giving, but the box says WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY on one side and MEMORIAL LANTERN on another. So that limits you being able to give this as a gift for certain occasions. The first thing I thought was it would be perfect for sitting in a memorial service next to a picture of the dearly departed, and then as a gift to the surviving family. I feel like it would be a much better remembrance than flowers would be. Regarding the lantern itself, it comes with 3 AAA batteries, a remote, and instructions. It looks yellow in these photos but the candle is actually an ivory color. When its on "flickering" I do think it looks very similar to an actual candle.The attached candle has to be turned on first with the switch on the bottom that is just outside of the battery compartment. From there you will use the remote to control it. The settings include flickering, steady, brightness, dimness, and the timer settings. I set the timer for 4 hrs to make sure the timer was working. Not only did it turn off at the 4 hr mark, but the following evening it came back on at the same time. So if you set it for 4 hours, it will be 4 hours on, 20 hours off, or if you set it for 6 hours, it will be on for 6 and off for 18. Im impressed that it does that!

Beautiful rustic candle lantern! Remote control allows for steady on with brightness adjustment along with flicker settings. It comes with two timer settings of 4 or 6 hours plus on and off switches. The beautiful nativity scene is on one side while the other three are blank. This will allow you to use it anytime of the year by turning it around to work with your decor. It's a nice large lantern with some weight to it and seems to be very well made and durable to last you for many years. Great value for great quality.
