Loved these UNTIL I REALIZED THEY WERE INFESTED WITH WOOD EATING BUGS!!!!!

I received these candles sticker holders and upon opening the package I noticed they were covered in a fine wood dust. I assumed it was from them being processed in shipping as they are real wood and wiped them down and put them on the mantle. Couple of Weeks later upon dusting I found more dust....mmmmh..... wiped it up again and did not think about it. WELL Weeks later we found more dust on the mantle, and upon inspection we found tons of tiny pin size holes!!!! Its at this time we realized there is actual bugs (We believe beetles) living in the candle sticks eating them away!!!!! I am very disappointed as I truly loved them, but can not take the chance to reorder as I am afraid that these might have gotten in my home and now we will have an issue! So Buyers if you are seeing wood dust inspect carefully!!!

I purchased these to use as a base for flameless candles in my fireplace. I love the glow of a fire in the fireplace and miss it when it gets too warm. I wanted something for Fall to add to the fireplace as it will still be quite a while before it's cool enough for a fire. These had different heights to allow placement of different candles and worked perfect!
