A REALLY GOOD ADVENT CANDLES CHOICE!
This past Advent was the first time I had used candles. I some times find candles to be tricky. They can be advertised as unscented. But fragrance is clearly noted, right through the package. Not these! They were advertised as unscented and they are/were.I followed the lighting of the candles, not letting them burn very long. I lit mine, said a prayer and blew it/them out. The closer it got to Christmas I allowed them to burn a bit longer, but not to much. I wanted mine to last all the way to the Epiphany. I only let them burn longer on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the night before the Epiphany and then longer on the Epiphany, while having my dinner.I don’t really know how long these will burn if allowed to stay lit. I can only say that they served my purpose. Mine did not melt badly. I thought I might melt them away quickly so I bought another package. I didn’t get to the second pack.I feared that I may wind up with broken candles. Thankfully mine were not. However they did break after I put them in the freezer. The idea was to remove some of the wax that had dripped down the sides. And to remove it off of my candle holder. The wax easily came right off without any scraping. That did not interfere with the usage of the candles.I intend to buy some more from this brand. I want some all white candles for Easter, which I know are available. And I want to buy more purple and rose candles so that I can burn them longer, during Advent, instead of buying the sets.
