Lovely gift for a special nurse!
I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for a nurse I see regularly in a clinic treatment setting. The saying said just what I wanted it to say to her! It came with a keychain that had the same saying, so that made the gift have a little bonus to it, which I really liked to be able to give to her.She teared up when she opened it. I think she liked it!Our health care professionals put up with so much from uncomfortable patients who may be in pain and may not always treat their caregivers the way they should. Likewise, some nurses should retire and not work in the profession any longer, perhaps from burn-out. Therefore, when you find a great nurse who is compassionate, friendly, as well as skilled at what they do -- and who always seems to go that little extra mile they would not have to do -- you find yourself wanting to give them at least a little token of your appreciation.This candle has a light scent that is very pleasing (lavender, it seems like). The cap to the candle is a pretty rose gold. The saying IS a decal, as was mentioned in another review, but mine arrived so well done that it did not look like a label but looked like it was printed right on the candle. The candle was very well-packaged and boxed nicely for gift-giving. It pulls out of the box & foam cushion a little bit tight, but that's only because it is so well guarded so it won't break.Recommended for that special nurse you want to acknowledge!
