Good stuff. Smells like Armani My Way EdP, which leans feminine, but can work for anyone as a househ scentIf you're unsure you'll like it, try the Matin Martin sample pack first to decide which one piques your interest.
This reed diffuser is packaged for gifting. The sturdy black display box has metallic gold lettering and Matin Martin M’s and Crowns, and shows the matching black-and-gold diffuser jar through the window. Inside, there are also five black reeds to complement the bottle. Be careful when removing the cork top. The cork was difficult to remove while I was holding the bottle, and maybe a little longer than I expected, so I managed to slosh the oily fragrance onto my clothing. Perhaps it is best to keep the bottle stationary on a table while twisting the cork out because it is full and the contents tend to splash through the narrow opening.It’s a good thing I liked the fragrance since I was now wearing it, LOL. It is citrusy but has some familiar undertones that I couldn’t quite place: I think it must be the jasmine-like Hexyl Cinnamal. In addition to citrus, the fragrance has a very sweet, dusky floral component as well as a spiciness. Some part of it reminded me of the beach before I saw that “aquatic” was one of Miral perfume’s descriptors. As you can tell, the oil has a complex aroma. It is a little strong when you are wearing it but I don’t think it would be when drawn through a couple of the reeds; I would not recommend starting with all 5 reeds but would add more if 2 or 3 aren’t enough.
I really love the look and scent of this diffuser. The scent has a very strong rose overtone but you also get the dark woody oud and it's very lovely together. I don't think the oud & leather description is quite accurate. The bottle looks very nice with the matte black and black reeds. It only has 5 reeds but that is enough to distribute the scent without being overpowering. I'm very happy with this product and recommend it.
I'll be honest, right out of the gate, this had a strong alcohol scent mixed with something like Tide Pods. I threw all five reeds into the bottle for a small bathroom and just about gassed myself out.Fast forward past that, I removed all but two reeds and let it settle for a day. Now, it gives off a much more refined, delicate fruity-floral scent that no longer smells cheap or overly synthetic like how it started. The bottle and matching black reeds look modern and classy, and the scent complements the aesthetic. Glad I gave it some time or I would not be writing the glowing review that I am now. It's very pleasant and a clear step up from your standard scents.Maybe I got one fresh off the factory line, maybe it's just how they are at first, or maybe it was user error. Either way, I’m now genuinely pleased with the scent and curious to try more from this brand given the quality and value.
The first thing I noticed about the bottle when it arrived was the strong fragrance. The listed scent flavor is 'Blossom and Mandarin' but I didn't really smell much mandarin. The smell is like that of a floral perfume and could be overwhelming if you're sensitive to strong artificial fragrances, as it wasn't really that natural smelling either.I would recommend that you place the bottle cap on top of the smell diffusing reeds when in use if you don't want to lose it. The price seems a little steep right now, but I'll see how long the scented liquid in the bottle lasts for. The scent doesn't really bother me, and the bottle could be good value if it lasts a very long time. Will update in the future...
Love the Miral scent, it is citrusy and floral without being overwhelming. I took a whiff of the fragrance before adding the reeds and that was probably a good idea as this is more potent that most diffusers. I recommend starting off with 1-2 reeds and slowly adding more over a week or two. Lasted me around 60-70 days in a decent sized living room. The bottle looks elegant enough to be on a sideboard or console instead of being hidden away in a corner. Good value considering the fragrance, duration, and overall appearance.
This has got to be the highest quality diffuser i’ve used! Right away, I was impressed by how visually appealing the bottle is, the reeds are black and the bottle is a pretty matte black with embossed or engraved labeling. It has a very clean and fruity scent, it reminds me of when you walk into a nice hotel!Once I got it set up and the reeds in place, the scent was immediately very present in my room. I definitely recommend flipping the reeds when you notice a decrease in scent!The bottle is large, much larger than any reed diffusers i’ve had in the past. I can imagine this will last for quite a while.Overall I REALLY love this, the scent alone is magnificent.
