This candle is a good-looking candle. The martini glass is thick and strong. It is filled with a dark-colored wax, topped with a light-colored wax, and finished with 3 "espresso coffee beans" on top. The wick is a good starting length, and it lights well. The scent of coffee is present when you are near the candle before lighting. I had high hopes because the description says "highly scented and long lasting."I lit the candle in my living room, on the fireplace mantle. I proceeded to work on my computer while seated 15 feet from the candle in a semi-enclosed area. I could not smell the espresso or coffee or anything. I burned the candle to an even puddle (as usually recommended for first burns), and the wick and wax burn very cleanly. There was no soot or weird bunching up of the wick. But there was also very little scent. The aroma didn't get stronger or waft better.The candle is very aesthetically pleasing and well-made. If you are into candles solely for the way they look, then get this one and don't light it. If you're looking for a nice, flowing scent, you're going to have to sit very, very close to this espresso martini candle.
