The clock is a beautiful addition to our mantel over the fireplace. The size is just right. Easy to see and best of all it is silent. No assemble required. Although we have only had it for 10 days, it is so far very accurate.
The wood is looks great on my mantle. There is no ticking to the seconds hand. It is a silent, smooth sweep. So fr, this clock seems perfect.
Got this clock to replace a mantel clock that refused to run any longer. Amazon had the lowest price on this item, and I am pleased with its appearance and performance. Only downside is that the back cavity is very large, and the battery holder at the bottom, close to the clock face. It made it more challenging to insert the batteries than my previous clock, but not impossible.

The clock is very nice, not heavy, medium size, silent indeed.
The clock arrived promptly and in good condition. However, it was not entirely as described or pictured on the website. The clock face uses conventional numbers rather than Roman numerals, and the style of the side wood supports is very different from what is shown on the website. I prefer the gentle sloping side wedges that don't call attention to themselves rather than the cylindrical and ornate pieces you can see in my photo. I'm going to live with it for a few days and decide. Immediate update. The clock face on offer is white, making the contrast strong and the face and hands easy to read. What actually arrived is silver and gold coloring and I can't clearly see the hands from the other side of the room. Going back tomorrow.Update: I have had two, maybe three, notices that this returned item was not received only to have Amazon tell me I received that dunning notice in error. Now, once again, Amazon has charged my account. I have changed my two stars down to one. Someone can't tell their elbow from their . . .
The clock is real wood. Simple but pretty. Worked great where I needed a new clock. Had to order a replacement because we got a returned clock that had a very corroded battery in it. Replacement was just like it should be. A bit of a glare on glass.
