This candle is great. The scent is wonderful. Price is great value for size. However, packaging not so good. The candle was packed in a brown paper mailer. The glass candle itself was NOT even wrapped in bubble to protect the glass. Lid came a little dented, but miraculously glass not broken. I don't understand why one would put a glass candle unprotected in a brown paper mailer. Not sure whether the onus falls on seller or Amazon. Product good.
I've ordered a couple of these & have been happy every time. They last a long time, the scents are not overpowering but not weak either. Bf burns his in his bedroom & I can smell it as soon as I walk in his apt. The crackling of the wooden wick is a nice touch. Makes a great gift for any occasion or just because.
A delightful candle with a subtly warm and welcoming scent. Burns well and clean. With its large dark container it hides amongst the decor. Definitely worth it.
I think FORE stars is on par for this candle. Great candle for the price. Lasts a long time. The scent isn’t as strong as I wanted it to be but does give off somewhat of that fresh cut grass smell. Wick length is perfect, uses two wicks so it melts evenly. Doesn’t leave any residue while burning. It’s a candle and it stays burning so the functionality is perfect, would burn all night long if you were to lose power or just wanted to cuddle up with your clubs during the off season. Not sure I wouldn’t purchase again if based on the scent but would for longevity of candle life . Major candle manufacturer Y.C used to make a “Fresh Cut Grass” candle which is no longer available and that was what I was trying to replicate. Fell a bit short, really not on par but does line up if you are looking for a well made candle.
Smells good, even burning, long lasting. Will buy again.
I found this scent in a public bathroom, I’ve repurchased several times, it smells great and it’s not super strong
I wish that i had taken pictures of the burned wicks! TWO OF THEM. I bought two of these candles and one was in a bubble wrap pouch, unsealed - no problem, and the second was in a sealed plastic bag. I really don't care how it was packaged as long as it gets to me fine, but BOTH candles had been previously used. Now, there's something about lighting a candle the first time, and I admit to that silliness. But more than just being disappointed that i was robbed of that experience, I was very upset that this company either felt it was acceptable to "refurbish" a CANDLE or was not on top of quality control/checking returns.The smell wasn't the greatest either. It's labeled as Fresh Shave, but I could not smell the "fresh". It actually smelled like body odor. Perhaps that is why there were at least two returns haaaah, and I was the unlucky recipient. I've returned the two and am waiting for my refund. I hope the company makes good on this.I also ordered a Woodland Escape scent, and that candle is awesome...and brand new! It smells like Christmas, sort of... like a forest. Since that one arrived UNUSED, I ordered another. I have one at home and one in the workplace restroom. When my coworker saw the candle, he exclaimed that he has a different scent but from the same company. So, I guess it's hit or miss with Manly Indulgence. I'm aware that nothing is perfect, but what are the odds that both my candles of the same scent were used?
