I was looking for a pop of color without the busy feel of art. These are wonderful for a mid century modern vibe and I love how they look. The string is really sturdy and it includes a comb to straighten which was appreciated. My only quip is that the ends at the bottom were really straggly so I did end up cutting the ends to straighten but that was my preference and over all, I just am so happy with the warmth.
