M&Sense gets candles right and very rarely disappoints.
I have about a dozen or so candles by M&Sense and they are all typically exceptionally good candles.This 35 ounce 3 wick candle though is even better than the usual 19.4 ounce versions I buy.I like that this one comes in a resin container as the glass jars of the others have been known to crack. I have about 4 of my 7 large 2 wick 19.4 ounce jar candles with heat stress cracks in them. Fortunately the cracks are above the wax line so I can still use them. I just have to very, very cautious. None of my other candles in resin containers have had any issues with cracking so I assume this one won't either.The container is beautiful too. A beautiful "paint run" pattern is shades of blue, red, and brown looks sophisticated and modern. The lid matches perfectly and forms a tight enough seal to prevent fragrance degradation.The fragrance is lush and rich and warm. A warm, sweet vanilla hits right up front but isn't a dessert vanilla or a candy vanilla. It is followed by balmy, rich sandalwood and a slightly musky base. It really is a divine fragrance and is perfect for adding a sunny feeling during the cooler months..As always with M&Sense candles the wax is high-quality, paraffin-free, soy wax. Three cotton wicks burn cleanly for about 150 hours total burn time. This large candle tours a 1200 square ft scent throw meaning it will fill the average room with fragrance quite nicelyAt about $40 this candle is a reasonable price but with the current discount available is an even better deal.

Great Scent and Burn, Minor Packaging Flaws
This M&SENSE Vanilla Sandalwood candle smells amazing right out of the box. The warm vanilla mixed with woody sandalwood fills the room nicely without being overpowering. It burns super evenly across all three wicks, no tunneling or weird hot spots after several hours, and the flame looks steady and clean. The jar itself looks really nice, and the packaging was solid when it arrived.That said, the lid doesn't fit super tight – it stays on but wiggles a bit if you shake it, which is kinda annoying for extinguishing (I usually put the lids on to let the flame burn out, I would not do that with this. I also noticed some of the coating on the glass rim near the top is a little worn or chipped, like it got scuffed in shipping, maybe. Overall solid 4 stars though; I'd grab another if the price matches similar big soy candles out there.

Giant Soy Candle in Decorative Glass
I really like the large size of this 3 wick candle in a pretty painted glass jar. The paint colors are a royal blue mixed with lighter blues and a deeper rust color mixed with tans. The diameter at the top is 5” and it is approximately 6 1/4” tall. This candle is tall, heavy and sturdy and is not likely to be knocked over easily, which means it is perfect to have on hand if the power ever goes out. With three wicks, it adds enough light to help you to see in the dark. For me, the Vanilla Sandalwood scent is more on the vanilla side. I don’t smell very much of the sandalwood scent. Since most folks like vanilla I think you will like the scent overall. It comes with a gold metal lid to match the gold tag on the front of the candle. The only thing I don’t like is that the metal lid scratches off the paint along the white rim of the glass at the top of the candle. While it’s not super noticeable, I wanted to point this out in case it was something that would bother you. The best parts of this candle are that it’s three wicks, it is made of soy wax, and burns for 150 hours. The pretty paint on the outside allows it to blend in nicely with your home decor if you have any blues or tans in your house. Given the size of this candle, along with the fact that it’s soy, I think the price is in line with the value you receive.

Luxury Aesthetic Without the Premium Price Tag
This 3-wick, 35 oz. soy candle from M&SENSE is impressive in both size and weight. The glass vessel is a beautiful abstract watercolor of blues and rust colors that looks eye catching in my living room. It will definitely make a nice piece of home decor once the wax is gone. The Vanilla and Sandalwood fragrance is a real win for me too. I didn’t even have to light it, right out of the box it filled my large living room with a very tranquil, relaxing fragrance. While Vanilla is the prominent top note, I do also get a hint of the Sandalwood. The Vanilla is more of a creamy and mellow scent rather than sugary or cloying. As it burned I did get more of the mid and base notes ( cedarwood, sandalwood, benzoin and musk ) and it delivers a very cozy fragrance that feels high-end and spa like. With three cotton wicks and an estimated 150-hour burn time, this is a a long-lasting candle and does fill the room with a comforting relaxing scent without the typical sweetness of some vanilla candles. The only minor drawback for me is the gold-tone lid, it is decorative but fits quite loosely. While it looks nice on the candle, it caused a slight scratch on the white rim so I would be careful handling it.Despite the lid, this candle does deliver a premium quality and a luxury aesthetic without the premium price tag.
