I chose the gold/yellow color, and loved it.

Love this area rug. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beautiful shading adds dimension, and texture to my living room. Super soft with bare fee. I like that it had a jute backing, making it feel great quality for the price. I couldn’t believe that there was no problem for it to lay flat immediately. The shipping packaging was excellent, and truly protected the rug. Delivery was fast. I purchased the 6 by 9 size, and I am absolutely impressed with everything about this rug. I believe it’s excellent quality and a great price. 5 stars for sure.

Old School

This is a well-made plush rug that definitely has an old-school feel to it, both in good and bad ways. It is densely woven with quality (albeit synthetic) yarns. I got it at a discount and am happy with the purchase. It is “old school” in that this is the type of product people bought when we bought things in person and spent a little more for something better-made.This rug is also “old school” because it looks like rugs from an earlier time. It doesn’t look like the picture, and in fact I think the pic is misleading. It looks like the pictures provided by me and other reviewers. The yarns in the rug are reflective and show footprints or vacuuming etc. To my younger readers- decades ago, this was a feature, not a glitch.I did keep this rug because of the quality and color (it is hard to find a rug in the “coral” color family) and the price was right. It is also “dog approved.” :)

If you’re on the fence, read me….

Like you (yes, I’m talking to you!), I looked and looked (and looked and looked and ugh, looked) for an affordable gold area rug. It’s just not that popular a color, right? Truth be told, I’m trying something new. My stained glass look on my back door has light hues of gold, so…there it is, the catalyst to my choice for a change. I had the pillows (Amazon covers), got the beautiful gold/white runner on Amazon, and the rug…yes, I took the plunge, even though I saw pics with little ripples and curls in reviews. I can do it, I said to myself.Out of the very tightly wrapped plastic, with a protective cover on each side, it arrived (!). (I struggled with the plastic but I’m tough, and yes, it’s rolled with the shag inward to protect it. Inconvenient, yes, but I get it. I immediately flipped it over, and began rolling on it as a family activity to smooth it out. The jute backing isn’t kind in that it’s not adhered to the inside of the carpet. This can cause ripples, so I weighed down all of the corners (unused playpens are a miracle…and weights, furniture, whatever you have) and I left it, and walked all over that thing for 24 hours. Not a single corner is flipped up, not a single edge. The fibers are very soft and the appearance is elegant when combined with some gold and colorful decor.I’ve had my solid wood table/chairs for decades, and my adult children have expressed their desire for it to stay in my home, since now their own children eat at the same table they once did as small children. My only real choice? Dress up what you can’t take down. I would buy this rug again and again. It wholly serves my purpose. Go for it if you’re on the fence but don’t be impatient. Wait the 24 hours (or more if you want) then have some fun!!

Will not lie flat. I would not recommend this rug.

Ugh! Could have been nice if it were to lay flat. I ordered the rug in on a deal and due to a very busy schedule, was not able to get to placing in right away. It was well over 6 weeks before we rolled out the rug. Unfortunately, beyond the to be able to return the product.It was/is very full of wrinkles, rolls and warps. We have tried all sorts of 'tricks' to get it to lie flat to no avail. We evened steamed the entire rug from the back side and attempted to stretch it. It has been on the floor since November and still remains warped.

Creased

This is the second carpet we've ordered. The first one has a strong smell that went away after about a week. The second one has large creases that I'm hoping will flatten out. The carpet is soft and fluffy, but has little backing of that's important to you. Good value for the price- especially if the creases come out.
