We bought this blackout roller shade for our sliding glass patio doors, and it ended up being a great choice. It fits really well and does an awesome job blocking out the light, which is exactly what we needed. Installation was surprisingly easy — took maybe 15–20 minutes total. The quality is solid and the fabric looks really nice. Overall, really happy with it and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a good blackout solution
I've been wanting to cover a smaller window in my bedroom for some time, but have been deterred by a few factors - the price and the overwhelming installation process. After installing this shade & having it up for a few days, I have to say I'm really satisfied! The price is reasonable...which is why I was surprised by how good the overall quality of the fabric is, it has a thick feel with a subtle pattern that pairs well with the window frame. Installing the blind was rather straightforward, the instructions were well written and very easy to follow along. Great product for the price.
Overall I would think this is a good product, the dimensions are almost perfect, and the installation is pretty straightforward if you follow it. It took me 2 hours because we have a high ceiling so I have to go up and down on the ladder quite a bit. One thing the manufacturer can improve is the cut on one side of the fabric, it is not trimmed as well as the other side.
Great roller shade great colors & textures for any room at a good, low price point. I ordered the block-out shade 10” wider, so it overlaps window. It works very well, like nighttime, anytime I want to sleep. The plastic tube used for lubricant is difficult to add (needed to make rolling shade quiet), so warming the lubricant tubes with a hair dryer, immediately before applying them helps.
Unfortunately the one sent to us had NOOOOOO tension. No matter what was done to it. Followed the installation instructions to the "T" but unless one climbed up each time to have the shade roll up and manually roll it back underneath the valance this thing is useless. Material itself is beautiful and size is perfect but if we were to keep it, either we would need to keep it down all the time or climb up each time, remove the valance and roll it back up manually. Was so looking forward to this for our bathroom to get privacy but apparently that was not to be with this.
These blinds are amazing! My house has lots of windows and my AC was constantly running all day until I got these shades. A week after I installed, I noticed how much cooler my house was and didn’t have turn my thermostat down much at all to get the house back cool at night. They are super stylish and easy to install.
Great product. Looks as advertised and fairly easy to set up. It does block light and is aesthetically pleasing.
