Brighter green than I expected

I was surprised at how close to lime green many of the leaves of this wreath are. I'd been hoping for something a few shades darker - closer to what you see in the picture. This may be what others are looking for, but to me at least, the wreath looked really cheap and cheesy as a result of the color. It's the perfect size for sticking at the base of a candle, though, which makes for a cute centerpiece. I'm going to see if I can paint over some of the leaves with some darker green acrylic paint and see if that helps disguise it so I can keep using it.
