Needs More Paint and Pre-drilled Holes but Otherwise Good

Be prepared to drill holes into the shelves to put the brackets on as none are pre-drilled or marked. If you're looking to rotate the shelves so that they're narrower and even deeper, that may be a plus for you. I own a drill and the appropriate bits so that wasn't a problem for me. 4 stars because the boards are warped enough that they rocked when put on my countertops during installation. I don't expect Amazon shelves at this price point to be perfect, but that was kind of crazy and it's not something I've experienced with even my other cheap, low quality furniture. The finish isn't pretty, and there are blemishes in them. It's like they needed one more coat of white paint. The edges of the shelves also desperately need some sanding and the corners are either banged up or it's just from it being the raw, I sanded edge of the material. I can see the color of the raw material showing through in certain spots and it's that grey brown you see on really old, weathered wooden fences.The brackets are really cute, and the depth of the shelf is mostly what I bought them for. Can't speak to how much weight they hold because I am using them to display my wigs which are extremely light. They FEEL sturdy though. I feel like I could press down on them without risking them coming off the wall.One day I may sand those edges and wrap them in vinyl or contact paper.

Floating Shelves

The size is absoluty perfect for what I wanted to do. I put them together in just a few minutes with a screwdriver. Mounting on the wall was easy too, although you'll need to use a drill to mount in studs. The actual shelf is not a real heavy wood but it was a far better quality than others I bought and returned. I only needed 3 shelves and these come 2 in a set. I'll easily find a place for the extra one! I love these shelves!!

I love that these are real wood and not compressed. However they are not totally flat, maybe they weren't fully dried?
