Carpet Saver

We have an old cat who throws up a lot (yes, he has been to the vet, and we have tried medication and changing his food and feeding frequency). His favorite place to do this is the floor in the finished basement. If he does it on the carpet, we have to get the shampooer out to clean up after him. If he does it on the rug, it goes in the washing machine. The rug washes up really well and holds up to multiple washes. I wish it could go in the dryer, but it dries well enough on the floor. Yeah, it's printed and doesn't have a woven in pattern. It's thin and isn't going to offer any padding to a hard floor. But it's washable and feels nice under bare feet (it's soft, just not plush). I got it on sale and it was worth every penny for my purposes.The color is nice. We live in a house that used to be a rental, so it has light colored carpet and white walls (it doesn't bother me enough to spend time and money to change it, especially because the builder put texture on most of the walls for some insane reason, which makes painting more of a pain), so having a rug with personality of any kind is welcome. I like the colors and think they look fairly close to product images.
