You can wash in wash machine which is a nice feature . It is so soft to the touch and on your feet. One negative ….it is very thin. It had no smell and it takes a couple days for it to lay completely flat and smooth. It is soft but not slippery and stays nicely in place. I’m about to order a different one for another room .
