I'll Tell You Why I LOVE IT

After having this rug for a couple of months, I feel qualified to give an honest opinion of it. The color is as shown, a true white with black stripes. The stripes are printed on the surface, but the quality of the printing is exceptional. Once unfolded, the rug did not take long to lay flat and does not slide around, even without a pad underneath. (I'm not sure if a runner would slide without a pad, since it would be smaller and lighter in weight, but the 8x10 stays put nicely). The rug is very flat, and without a pad for cushioning, it feels almost like walking on the bare floor, however the rug itself is made of velvety fibers that feel soft against bare feet. It vacuums very well with the vacuum set on either mid or high pile settings. The velvety rug texture allows faint vacuum tracks and shoe prints to show, which adds character and softness to the rug's appearance. The edges are stitched to perfection, with no loose threads and no signs of damage from vacuuming. The rug is also easy to clean. I have used sanitizing wipes to scrub several tiny spots that occurred from eating food in the living room, and they all disappeared quickly and easily. A quick vacuuming once dry restores the rug to like-new appearance. I know it's machine washable, but at this rate it will be a LONG time before it's dirty enough to take for laundering. I don't anticipate any issues. We have no children or pets, and we are both active in keeping our place clean. Therug looks more expensive than it is and is a good value for the price. I highly recommend it.
