Very very pretty rug

This is a very pretty area rug. I really like the different tones of green and the design is subtle and not over done to create a lift to my living room area. It is very low profile and lays flat after the creases from folding relax out over time. It has non slip backing on the entire back side. You can easily wipe up messes and it is also washable. Silky soft

This rug is so incredibly soft! I absolutely love walking on it as it’s silky and smooth on my feet. I wanted this to add a pop of color in our room to help break up the greige, so it was laid down on top of carpeting. I’m not sure if that’s why, but the most annoying thing is it constantly moves on the floor. There isn’t any grip on the backside at all, but going to get some rug tape so no big deal at all. Because it’s washable it’s very thin but would be lovely over a nice squishy rug pad. For the price it seems to be a really good quality, and I’d honestly purchase this again in a heartbeat just because of how soft it is and how pretty the design and colors are!

Area rugs do not belong in a washing machine~never have~probably never will~!

Well, it works better on a hard surface than it does on carpet. The rubber backing helps it grip better on the hard surface when walking on it or vacuuming. If it's on a carpeted floor, the vacuum wants to suck it up because it doesn't lie completely flat on the floor, and it won't stay in place; it wants to slide around when you walk on it because it's so thin. ( I like using rugs on a carpeted floor for decoration purposes and to protect my carpeting from getting worn). The rug feels a lot like felt or something. It's called "faux wool". I'm not exactly sure what faux wool is made of, but it has a soft, spongy-like feeling.I have never understood the concept of these "machine-washable" area rugs. IMO~Area rugs do not belong in a washing machine. In order to have one that you can cram it in a washer; the quality suffers, and in most cases is completely absent. Why don't they just call it what it is: disposable rugs? Because that's where everyone I have ever washed in a washer and dried in a dryer has ended up~in the trash~! Of course, they are cheaper because they are so thin, but what good are they if they don't serve their purpose~?It has the consistency of a wall tapestry or a blanket on the floor after a trip through the laundry cycle.. I keep trying to find one that is different and stands apart from the countless others I have reviewed. But I haven't found one yet. This is an idiotic trend and defeats the whole purpose of even having a rug. I would just as soon buy a good thick rug that I can vacuum, one that stays in place, and one I can wash with a Rug Doctor when it gets dirty, that's worth having~! All of the rugs I had before this trend, I still have, and they still look nice and serve their purpose. All the so called "machine-washable" rugs that I have tried washing are at the landfill. Every one ~! But I will continue to research until I find one that maintains its effectiveness through the washer and dryer.Although I have tried many rugs from this brand, all different kinds, for the most part, I find that this is a good brand. They have some beautiful colors and patterns. I just don't agree with the washable area rug concept. Their products are of quality. But I cannot recommend their machine-washable rugs.

Great for home office

I ordered the green rug. The colors are true to the website photos. I was surprised with how soft this rug feels. It feels like the inside of a soft fleece sweatshirt. The rug is thin but has a tight weave so I believe it will be durable. I am using it in my home office and I personally like that it is thinner because my office chair glides smoothly on it. If you are going to use it in a higher traffic area you may want to put a rug pad underneath for more cushion. I also like that it is machine washable which is great for anyone with children or pets or for those high traffic areas. The edges are well bound. There is no fraying or strings. I think this is a great rug at the current price of $50 dollars.
