I think it would look surprisingly good in a variety of spaces, though consider that a coffee table may cover part of it. It's velvety soft but not cushioned (very very thin), so you may want a rug pad if you're wanting it to feel really plush. I love the grippy silicone back that keeps it in place! I’ve had many of these types of rugs, and they’re always incredibly soft until they’ve been walked on a bit and then that doesn’t return. It’s very nice that they are easy to wash, but something of this size is not necessarily easy to put many standard residential machines. Based on that experience, this is what I was expecting prior to receiving this rug.I really like the print — I ordered green, but it is more of an aqua blue in my opinion. The back is a rubber machine weave, and the edges have stitching, but are not reinforced so therefore they’re not heavy. I wonder how well the edges will lay flat given this.It’s a really lovely pattern and if this fits your decor, I recommended it as something to consider!
