Beautiful area rug

I really love this area rug. It’s very neutral yet has hints of colors that are very subtle. The subtle colors are hint of blue tan brownish charcoal, and the primary colors of the rug are gray, ivory and khaki tan. It’s on the cool side yet works well with warmer color tones as well.It is a thin rug and soft to the touch, although not “plush”. It could probably be used without a carpet pad. However, I have a thin carpet pad underneath it.I like that it’s a thin rug, especially for under a dining table.If you are looking to purchase this rug, make sure that you are purchasing it from an Amazon vendor that adheres to the same policies as Amazon Prime.I purchased another rug by Surya through a third-party vendor, BISON. Although it was listed as a Prime retailer, they do not adhere to the same return policies as Amazon. I was dissatisfied with the color of the other rug and they will not pay for return shipping. I sent them several messages through Amazon indicating that I was unhappy with the color as it didn’t look like the color advertised and they still will not pay for the return shipping which is almost $20.In addition, BISON’s price was almost $70 more than other Amazon vendors (which I later discovered).So when looking for this or any other area rug, make sure to look at the details of who the vendor is and what the return policy is.

So soft

I love the style of this rug and softness on feet. I have two, one I use in my bedroom and another in the living room. They look great immediately too because when you unroll them they don’t have wrinkles or creases. With two large dogs, I find these very pet friendly. They hide dirt and don’t stain. To make it even better, adding a rug pad underneath helps it not slip. The quality is top-notch!

This was a used, dirty rug.

I was so disappointed when I unrolled this rug. The rug had been used with moderate staining. Even had what appeared to be a pet urine stain. Gave it 3 stars rather than 1 because the rug itself is a very nice rug and I loved the colors. Did not reorder out of fear of possibility of product being sold as used.

Don’t Make My Mistake

This rug looks beautiful, I do really like the muted neutral coloring of blues, creams, grays. However, if I could do it all over again I would not purchase this rug. The hard plastic backing of the rug means it must have a rug pad underneath it. Not doing so will scratch up hardwood floors. It also means that even with the rug pad, you can feel the hardness from the plastic backing. Not the comfort I was looking for in a rug for my bedroom.There was also an incident when unrolling the rug. I was not wearing shoes or socks, and the rug was pulled over the top of my foot. The hard plastic backing shredded the top of one of my toes. I now have a scar. So take caution when unrolling/moving the rug if you do purchase it.I really like the look of this rug and it’s unfortunate that the hard back of it is just so bad.
