I got this rug because it came in a wonderful pattern and was 10 feet long. We have a very long foyer and it's very difficult to find runners that are long and wide, this rug is both. The rug is beautiful in every way and has a nice bohemian look to it. I love the colors and the pattern and the rug looks exactly the way it does in the pictures. I'm very pleased with the rug and I highly recommend it.
From a material quality standpoint, this rug seems to be good. It is soft to the touch and seems to be well-woven; compared to other rugs, the bottom isn't as hard (i.e., the rug can actually be folded pretty easily, whereas others do not really fold over), but that doesn't have much of a bearing for the top surface.The reason for my two stars off is that the color scheme wasn't what my wife and I expected from the product pictures. In hindsight and doing a comparison with the real product, the third picture is probably the most similar to the look and feel; as a point of comparison, the second picture makes the rug out to be much lighter than what it really is. In actuality, the rug is of darker colors, some of which are a lot more green-like than what we expected as well. In all, it just didn't end up working out in our home, as we prefer the lighter color setup (and the family/play room that we wanted to use this in is all very much lighter in color, including another rug that we have in a corner of that room).Given the good quality though, we will likely end up gifting this to a family friend who likes the color scheme more than we do.

I highly recommend this rug. It’s really quite beautiful. Looking at the pictures I could see the colors were quite muted, but when it was delivered, I was pleasantly surprised how many colors were actually in the rug. I think you could put this in just about any room with any style. It’s classy and cozy with kind of a vintage look to it. I like the workmanship a lot. It’s soft to walk on and a soft backing when it’s needed to be rolled up and stored. I love the idea that it’s polyester and you can spot clean or machine wash. It is very pricey to have rugs cleaned, so this is a huge benefit to be able to clean it myself. I love the feeling of clean rugs in the house, especially with little ones on them. At less than 30 pounds, it’s easy enough to take it outside and give it a good shaking.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
We're just completing an addition to our home and added a home theater room which is 12' x 14'.The rest of the house is upgraded wood veneer flooring, which is about $15.00 a sq. ft. just for the materials, plus the time, labor and adhesive to glue it down... it's fairly expensive.With this rug we were able to go with a roll sheet vinyl drop-in with a wood floor pattern for less than a dollar per sq. ft. and then cover with this rug and saved over two grand versus the wood veneer flooring.Plus, the acoustics with the rug is much better and no echo like you'd have with hardwood floor and makes the room feel very cozy and comfortable as well.The pattern is muted to replicate an antique rug, so it doesn't look too gaudy or over the top and looks very authentic, even though it's brand new.It would make a good spruce-up to your home going into the holidays to be able to save some money over buying new flooring and if you change your mind, you can relocate it to another room or just store it away.The rug is fairly thin, so it makes it a little harder to vacuum with a regular beater-bar vacuum because it wants to pick it up and get suctioned to it, but using a “stick” vacuum works fine.It's not deep pile, so there is no need to have the deep cleaning action of a standard vacuum and you only need to remove dirt and debris from the surface.Even one of the old-school Bissell sweepers would be a great choice.Satisfied with the rug for the look, quality, ease of moving around and being able to wash it as well as the cost savings versus buying upgraded flooring for our project.It was also shipped and received fast.
I'm using this area rug in my home office. It's replacing a slightly cheaper area rug. This rug unlike the cheaper one, is actually woven so there's a good amount of texture on the top and bottom. It's a washable rug, so it doesn't use natural fibers, instead it's all polyester. There is no backing on the bottom so it slips and slides easily on a wood floor. There's also a higher than preferred amount of stretch to it, if you move your feet, the rug will stretch about an inch in any direction. The top pattern looks like it's been printed on a white woven background instead of weaving actual dyed polyester fibers. There are also what look like printing errors or places where they stitched to ends of rug together. This reminds me of an egregious factory second.Still it'll do the trick of an indoor area rug.
